Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau are among the strongest and most powerful superheroines from the Marvel universe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This majestic trio will appear in the upcoming movie called The Marvels<\/em><\/a>, which is scheduled for a November 10, 2023 release.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll explore the origin stories of all three superheroines, along with their powers, their strengths and what makes them as special and strong as they are.<\/p>\n

Who Are The Marvels?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Marvels are <\/span><\/b>Captain Marvel<\/span><\/b><\/a>, Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The three superheroines are the stars of the upcoming movie, <\/span>The Marvels<\/span><\/i> \u2014 a highly-anticipated sequel to\u202f<\/span>Captain Marvel<\/span><\/i><\/a>,\u202f<\/span>Ms. Marvel<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span>Avengers: Endgame<\/span><\/i><\/a>,\u202f<\/span>WandaVision<\/span><\/i><\/a> and\u202f<\/span>Secret Invasion<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve seen <\/span>Captain Marvel<\/span><\/i>, then you\u2019re probably wondering what will happen next with the fearless Carol Danvers. (Just a heads up \u2014 we might share a <\/span>spoiler<\/span><\/b> or two in the next paragraph, so if you haven\u2019t watched the movie, pause for some popcorn and a flick, then come back to finish reading!) <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the movie, Danvers turnes against the Kree and the Supreme Intelligence, leaves the Kree military and sides with the Skrulls. The movie ends with her helping the Skrulls find a new home. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Carol Susan Jane Danvers, a.k.a., Captain Marvel, is one of <\/span><\/b>the most powerful female comic book characters<\/span><\/b><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her character, created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gene Colan, first appeared in <\/span>Marvel Super-Heroes #13<\/span><\/i><\/a> in March 1968.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Danvers is from Boston.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In some comics, she\u2019s 100% human, whereas, in some more recent storylines, she\u2019s depicted as a half-human half-Kree, with a Kree mother who was a captain of the Kree army.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Danvers originally worked as a <\/span>United States Air Force officer<\/span><\/b> and then was employed by NASA. She became the Head of Security at the Kennedy Space Center.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While at NASA, Danvers\u2019 path crossed with <\/span>Captain Mar-Vell<\/span><\/b> \u2014 a Kree who wanted to spy on NASA and lead his race into a war against the humans.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Captain Mar-Vell impersonated Dr. Lawson and worked alongside Danvers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At one point while they were at the space station, a Kree device called <\/span>Psyche-Magnitron<\/span><\/b> exploded. Danvers was caught in the explosion and was exposed to radiation from the device.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, <\/span>her DNA was fused with Captain Mar-Vell\u2019s, and that gave her superhuman power, strength and speed<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She became <\/span>Ms. Marvel <\/span><\/b>and<\/span> started fighting alongside the Avengers, but her character found herself in a lot of trouble over the years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She was a <\/span>victim of Marcus, <\/span><\/b>Immortus<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u2019 son.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Danvers even became an alcoholic at one point after everything she had been through and went with <\/span>Tony Stark<\/span><\/a> to an alcoholics anonymous meeting.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2012 though, she finally took the mantle of <\/span>Captain Marvel<\/span><\/b>!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
