You\u2019ll get the hang of them in no time!<\/p>\n<p>The simplest way to draw a foot is to <strong>start with the simplest shapes<\/strong>. In this case, <strong>we&#8217;ll draw boxes!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll <strong>stack boxes of different shapes, sizes, and angles<\/strong> until we get the foundation for our foot.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Oh, and since we\u2019re drawing the foot from the side, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/Achilles-Greek-mythology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Achilles tendon<\/a> also partially shows \u2014 that\u2019ll become more obvious once we soften the lines later on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The width and the height of the heel bone represent how tall and wide your foot drawing will be!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>2. The Middle Foot Box a.k.a. \u201cHalf House\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>Now\u2019s the time to start drawing the middle part of your foot that goes from your heel to your toes.<\/p>\n<p>First, let\u2019s draw the part that\u2019s the closest to your heel \u2014 that\u2019s where your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verywellhealth.com\/talus-4587601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">talus bone<\/a><\/strong> is.<\/p>\n<p>The talus is right next to your heel bone. Although it\u2019s only 5 \u2013 6 cm long, this bone <strong>supports the entire weight of your body!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Talus is the tallest against your heel. The Other Middle Foot Box<\/h3>\n<p>Now, let\u2019s add another middle foot box.<\/p>\n<p>Since your <strong>foot becomes slightly wider from the talus to the toes<\/strong>, angle the lines slightly outwards.<\/p>\n<p>Although your foot is wider in the middle, it\u2019s less tall than at the talus, and that has to be clear from your sketch. Since you have two bones in your toes, he made the lines at the top of the big toe slightly slanted downward and then straightened them to show the transition from one bone of the big toe to the other.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Some people have longer index toes than their big toes, so, if you want, you can sketch it like that!<\/p>\n<p>The long toe box is about half a centimeter shorter than the big toe box. As for its width, we drew it so that it takes up almost half of the space next to the big toe box.<\/p>\n<h3>6.
