Then, he gradually narrowed it until he reached the point where he then drew the head.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Use simple lines and make the outline of the head and the neck look like geometrical shapes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a beginner, it\u2019s more <strong>important to get the proportions well and decide on the appropriate size of the head and the neck<\/strong> than to make them look realistic this early on.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Sketch The Belly<\/h2>\n<p>Once you draw the upper parts of both legs, <strong>add the line that connects the horse\u2019s legs \u2014 that\u2019s going to be its belly!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before you draw it, pay attention to the line at the top that connects the circles. That\u2019s where the horse\u2019s back is, so make sure <strong>the distance between the back and the belly is proportional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>6. He also added <strong>one eye and one nostril<\/strong> because, like the ears, you can see only one of them.<\/p>\n<p>Notice how he kept <strong>the lines simple and clean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also make the horse\u2019s jaw slightly softer and more pronounced because, in nature, there are no straight lines as in the outline.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Erase Unnecessary Elements<\/h2>\n<p>At this point, your drawing is almost done, so you don\u2019t need the square base any longer.<\/p>\n<p>Grab your eraser and make sure to <strong>erase the square, the inner part of the circles, and all superfluous lines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, we suggest you apply more pressure to the pencil to make the remaining lines more pronounced.<\/p>\n<h2>10.
