This is the area where your thumb forms a valley with your index finger. Remember, you\u2019re still learning, so don\u2019t sweat it if your drawing doesn\u2019t look realistic at first!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our fingers consist of three bones, save for the thumb, which has only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hopkinsmedicine.org\/health\/treatment-tests-and-therapies\/anatomy-of-the-hand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">two<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first finger we\u2019re going to show you how to draw is the thumb.<\/p>\n<p>Gon\u00e7alo starts off by drawing the thumb part between the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joint cases. Don\u2019t let these big words scare you. See the top 7 character creation software!<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Step #3: Draw The Rest Of The Fingers<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Recommended tool: <\/strong>H pencil<\/p>\n<p>Now that you have the thumb in place, let\u2019s add the remaining four fingers.<\/p>\n<p>As Gon\u00e7alo recommends, try to <strong>keep the shapes as simple as possible<\/strong>. The pointer finger is usually slightly shorter than the middle finger and the ring finger is, in most cases, shorter than the pointer finger. Of course, that\u2019s not always the case, but that\u2019s how Gon\u00e7alo illustrates them.
